MESSAGE

MR. Vinod Kumar Sharma

As a visionary as well as the Principal, devotee & dedicated to allround enhancement of school, I believe that excellence & value based education is aided by creating a learning environment in which all stake holders are supported in maximizing their potential and talents. The first century poet Virgil said "They are able because they think they are able", 'Work is worship' and My life's philosophy trusts 'KarmandeyvaAdhikarastey ma falsukadachan'. Thus karma, discipline, devotion and faith are basic assets of prosperity and success.
3D system of learning,

DUTY DISCIPLINE DEVOTION

Every mind is made for growth and for knowledge.Knowledge and understanding are life. These are our faithful companions who will never prove untrue to us. For knowledge is your crown, and understanding your staff, and when they are with you, you can possess no greater treasures. With this aim, we strive to nourish the young minds of our students so that they learn to accomplish any goal that they set for themselves and there are no limits on what they want to be and what they can be.

According to me the role of school today is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society. In the words of John Dewey "Education is not preparation for life, Education is life itself"

Mrs Gayatri Nair

In this era of cut throat competition, it is of paramount importance to impart an integrated education to the future citizens of the Nation for successfully facing multitasking. The Army School, therefore, lays special emphasis on both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities providing students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity. The 'Rainbow' would also be a true reflection of all these diverse achievements and progresses made and being made by the school in fulfilling the coveted goal of imparting disciplined and quality education.

That we have succeeded in our mission is proven by the manifold success stories scripted by our students who are serving today in a number of arenas of human affairs.

We seek to help our students develop into men and women who will think clearly, act with integrity, make decisions for themselves, be sensitive to the needs of others and the environment, be strong in service and hold a global perspective.

Our goal as educators is to support all students academically and socially. We will make every effort so all students graduate as successful and literate members of society - and be able to succeed in the increasingly complex world in which they will live and work.

Middle school is a time of a change. The workloads and social adjustments are greater here than at the elementary level. The campus is larger, there are more students, and your child will now have multiple teachers throughout the day

Much of our success comes from the unparalleled commitment of our students and teachers who devoutly hold on to the motto of the school "Laborare est Orare", i.e. "Work is Worship". What distinguishes us is the genuine love and concern we have for each child.

The challenges in times ahead would be even greater. It is the responsibility of educational institutions to equip their students with requisite traits to successfully cope up with upcoming challenges of personal and professional life.

We believe all students can achieve academic success and have an extensive pastoral care network to help them achieve to their potential. A strong partnership with home is a key ingredient in this goal and we both value and encourage parents and families to take an active interest in their child's achievements at school. Working together we can help our young people develop their individual strengths and identities and build the confidence to be able to contribute to society

Education is a continuous and fascinating journey, not a destination. I strive to provide the leadership that will enable all stakeholders to realize the benefits of the journey. By working together, let us produce a learning environment that is exciting, innovative, and creative for our students, equipping them to face the challenges of the 21st Century.

I work to ensure that curriculum, instructional strategies, and integrated technologies are designed to enable students to learn. It is important to secure teachers committed to critical reflection and coach them to excel. Every child is unique, calling from us imaginative and engaged pedagogy. The utilization of data to measure our success and ascertain changes is imperative to improving student achievement. The importance of obtaining and analyzing data is often overlooked but is so critical to tailoring education for improved student achievement.

I am a visionary leader, dedicated to total school improvement. I believe in leading the school community to embrace sound pedagogical change. I see the role of the principal as providing the leadership necessary for the school to educate all students to meet or exceed the provincial academic standards. Education needs to focus on personalized learning and instruction, while promoting an education system that is equitable, universally accessible, and meeting the needs of all students. It is not a case of "one-size-fits-all." Education needs to be tailored to the individual student. The achievement of students should be of paramount importance in a successful learning organization. I believe in holding high expectations for students and staff, and in acknowledging those achievements.

Mrs Harindar Hundal

I believe that excellence in education is aided by creating a learning environment in which all stakeholders are supported in maximizing their potential and talents. The first century poet Virgil said, "They are able because they think they are able." This is a basic tenet of my philosophy of education. I believe in demonstrating care and commitment to academic excellence in a secure and safe environment. My first consideration is always what is in the best interest of the students. My goal is to promote academic excellence and continuous school improvement.
